"Sometimes you desperately need a safe pair of hands, a quick mind, and an innovative problem-solver to move your agenda forward. Let me introduce you to Ruth Riddick, who I have known over a number of years. I have employed her as a consultant, project manager, writer/researcher, facilitator, trainer, speaker, and reviewer. In all of these roles, Ruth delivers high-quality work, superb attention to detail, innovative thinking, flair, and grown-up, no-nonsense professionalism that you can count on. Ruth brings a passion, can-do attitude, and dedication to every task. She will go the extra mile (or two) to ensure that everything is just right and what is needed. A naturally gifted presenter, speaker, and facilitator, Ruth delivers what audiences need with both style and substance. Ruth’s presentations are memorable and engaging, as she knows how to bring audiences with her on journeys of discovery, delivering new insights and building group resilience and vision.
Perhaps most importantly, Ruth does all of this with integrity and with the wit (yes she is fun to work with) and wisdom (super smart to boot) of someone who is never bored with the job at hand. She has got your back and that job you are worried about could not be in better hands."

I hired her to help me with some administrative projects for my business and she made me feel confident things were done right, plus gave me some additional advice on processes she's learned through experience. I'd recommend her to anyone for a variety of projects-- from writing, editing, media pitching and general business strategy advice, to admin projects when you know you need something done right the first time.
She's very personable, as well."

"Ruth and I worked together at Faces of the Fallen, a Washington, DC, based art project honoring the fallen of the Iraq war, located in the the Women's Memorial at Arlington Cemetery. I was at the time member of the Board of Advisors. Ruth was hired as a free-lance collaborator but very quickly made herself entirely indispensable and became the project's Executive Director. She was tireless, immensely accurate, of an irreproachable collegiality and very creative. This was a complicated project involving 200+ artists, the top brass of the military, the next of kin of the fallen and many other birds of very different plumage; with her diplomatic attitude and great persistence she overcame many hurdles, smoothed ruffled feathers and made everything manageable and made friends everywhere. Ruth is not only an amazing professional, she has many interests and talents and is involved in many different creative activities. On a personal level, I have come to know her as a woman of great strength and courage. She is truly one of those people that make one wonder: "Does a day, for her, maybe have more than my measly 24 hours? Does she ever sleep?""
